The New Mexico Office of African American Affairs (OAAA) will sponsor an HIV/AIDS Awareness workshop on Saturday, March 31, 2012 from 9am to 3pm, at the University of New Mexico Continuing Education Building. The location is 1634 University Boulevard Northeast Albuquerque, NM 87131. The workshop is open to female participants between the ages of 13 to 18 years of age; parents are welcome as well.
The primary purpose of this workshop is to provide strategies that will protect our youth from becoming statistics in the already alarming rate of new infections in the African and Native American communities. |
